Site Safety Plans:

Site Safety Plans are required for construction, demolition and alterations of buildings that require Construction Superintendent or Site Safety. No work permit shall be issued for the construction or demolition of major buildings, or for alteration of the facade of a major building when a sidewalk shed is required until a site safety plan that meets the requirements of chapter 1 of Title 28 of Administration Code has been approved by the Department of Buildings, Site Safety Plan Unit.

A site safety plan is a communication tool between subcontractors and main contractors and should be completed before starting a construction project. EcoSafety Consultants can also provide approved Site Safety Plans from the DOB BEST SQUAD.
